Spike2Care hosts fundraiser event for local player's family

After Spike2Care taking a break for over two years we hosted a fundraising tournament this past weekend, Rally to Rebuild for Deb Hayne's family.

From Issac Lanctot, Spike2Care President:

After Spike2Care taking a break for over two years we hosted a fundraising tournament this past weekend, Rally to Rebuild for Deb Hayne's family.

When Typhoon Surigae impacted the area the family unfortunately lost their home and all belongings. All of the money raised in this tournament will go directly towards their rebuilding efforts and help them get food, water, and furniture.

The atmosphere was amazing all day long with competitive play and encouragement and support from all the teams and people who stopped by to donate.

All of you are the reason we keep running tournaments, the family of Debra Haynes wanted to thank everyone who played and donated. Please watch the attached video if you have time.

I know everyone would like to know how much we raised...Drumroll...$10,150!!!!

Thank you to all of the people who sponsored baskets. Rebecca Jackson Edwards, Olivia Marie, Kylie Boschma, Tina Ervin, and Joel Evans.

Also, a special thank you to the people who donated financially to the cause. Chad Wheeler, John O'Connor, Robert White, Gretchen Strasser, Allen Allen, and Beth Lanctot. We couldn't have hit our goal without all of you.

Isaac Lanctot & Dennis Baal, thank you for working so hard to put these events together ❤ and THANK YOU to all of you who played and supported Deb & her family
