A full day of fun for the kiddos and the parents.

We had our 2018 Volleymania Youth Tournament on February 17th at Mead High School, and what a day it was! We had a total of 12 teams from around the region join us with some Clubs bringing multiple teams, like Club Lokahi representing with 3 teams, Keiki 1, 1.5, and 2 and other Clubs in the Spokane area bringing 2 teams. 

We started the day with pool play, having the officials helping by initiating play with a tossed in ball. Not only were the officials so helpful, but one of our own clubs, Out of System, stepped up during a mix up. Another club from Sandpoint showed up with a few kiddos, and there was not an open spot available for a whole new team, so Out of System had them join their two teams so everyone could play! 

When pool play finished we had our helpful Eastern Boys Volleyball Club help out on a fun serving contest where the players were able to win a lot of different prizes. As we refocused after the fun, we got into bracket play having six teams in each brakcet. Great things happened for Out of System with their good deed of helping others play and both their teams were in the Blue Bracket taking 1st and 2nd place along with Sideout taking 1st in the Green Bracket. 

It was a great day ending with A LOT of pizza for all the teams! We are looking forward to next year already!
