Program Development Grants

Program Development Grants


These grants are focused on growing development areas within the Evergreen Region such as Youth, Boys, Outdoor, Sitting, and Diversity & Inclusion. 

These grants can also be used to to purchase equipment such as volleyballs, nets, antennas, pads, outdoor equipment etc.

  1. Are you adding one of these programs in your area? Are you adding sand courts to your community and need help with equipment?

    Do you need assistance funding these program to keep cost low? Such as paying staff, facility fees, giveaways for participants, equipment etc.

    If you answered YES, we may be able to provide grant assistance

Additional requirements for awarded grant funds:

  • Additional follow-up meetings after grant awarded to check progress, assist with  implementation and strategic plan for ongoing seasons.
  • If grant funds awarded are used for reusable equipment such as volleyballs, generic uniforms, etc.  and the program doesn't continue, the entity agrees to turn the reusable purchased goods to the ERVA .


To Apply:


  1.  Use the online application portal to submit your grant request.
  2. You will need to upload additional documents during the application process:
  • Program Development Outline/Strategic Plan:
    • Include details outlining the program/facility you are seeking assistance for and why you are looking to add this program/facility.
    • Include purpose/goal of program and what you hope the program to accomplish/offer to your volleyball community.
    • What is the long-term strategic plan for keeping the added program/facility going after the grant assistance. 
  • Program/Facility Budget
    • Include a draft budget outlining revenue & expenses for the program/facility.
      • Such as entry fees, staffing, giveaways/prizes, equipment, maintenance, etc. 

Browns Park Sand Courts

ERVA with the City of Spokane Valley added 16 sand courts to this public park. Local community members and clubs can use the courts. ERVA contributed all the equipment to the courts (poles, nets, antennas, pads, lines).

Sitting Volleyball

Sitting Volleyball is a discipline for everyone! Able-bodied players can participate with players with disabilities to include everyone in a sport they love!

In 2019, Team Evergreen's sitting team finished with a Bronze medal at the Adult Open Sitting Championships! 

Boys & Youth Volleyball

Volleyball is growing across the US and in the ERVA! We want to help clubs add ALL boys teams and YOUTH 11 and under programming to their area while keeping the cost down. Let us help your club get started with a grant!
