Meredith Coupland is completing her 12th yr as the ERVA Commissioner and her 18th year as a member of the ERVA Board of Directors. She has been a member of USA Volleyball for a combined 33 years, as a junior member of the Alaska Region and adult member of the Evergreen Region. While she and her husband recently retired the club they ran for 17yrs, she loves coaching the next generations of volleyball players and will continue to do so.
Raised in Anchorage, AK - attended & graduated from Whitworth University - Meredith lives in Spokane, WA with her husband, Chad, and dog LuLu. She is a practice administrator for a local physical therapy clinic and will still find time to hike, golf, garden, and read!!
“Through the past twelve years as Commissioner, I have enjoyed seeing the growth in our membership numbers, growth in our membership locations, the addition of new/reinvigorated programs (adding College Memberships, the ERVA Adult tournaments, the ERVA Youth Scrimmages, an ERVA Boys Tournament and Adult and Juniors Sand), and of course seeing all our veteran (and new) faces that love the game of volleyball.
While the 2yr interruption of play/growth was physically and mentally challenging, I am proud of our members and Region Operations that persevered, created new opportunities/venues and stood strong in their love of the game. If elected again, I will look forward to helping guide our Region through the next 3yrs of challenges, diversity, and growth.”
NO CANDIDATE WAS SUBMITTED FOR THE JUNIOR PROGRAM DIRECTOR, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ERVA BYLAWS THE VACANT POSITION SHALL BE FILLED FOR THE BALANCE OF THE TERM BY APPOINTMENT OF THE COMMISSIONER WITH APPROVAL OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE.

Travel compensation needs to be reviewed and adjusted accordingly.
