Club Mission Statement The Sweets Volleyball Club is committed to providing young female athletes in the Walla Walla Valley with the opportunity to learn and play the game of volleyball; Building players' skills to enable them to compete at a high level of play; and training players with the best and most sound techniques of the game.
Practice Facilities/Practices Per Week The Sweets Volleyball Club will access gyms from around the Walla Walla Valley.  Depending on age of participants and upcoming tournaments, there will be a minimum of two practices per week but this may escalate to three practices the week prior to a tournament.
Do you hold Open Tryouts? YES
Will you have a youth developmental team? NO
Club Dues Cost (Range/Estimate)

$350-$500

What does the club fee cover? The club fee covers coach pay (which includes Impact certification), tournament fees, gym space/rental, referee clinic fees, uniform rental/purchase, chaperone fee, and director pay.  The club fee does not cover spandex shorts, socks or individual USAV fees.  All travel expenses are at the individual players own expense.
Travel - Do parents travel with the team?  Chaperones? Yes, the club requires at least one chaperone per team for on-site purposes.  However players are allowed to ride to and from the tournaments with their parents.
How many tournaments will you compete in?

All tournaments except for the one hosted by our club will require travel.  Most tournaments are within a 3 hour radius of Walla Walla.  Number of tournaments is dependent on age group:  U12 - 3 to 4 tournaments; U14- 5 tournaments; U16- 6 tournaments; U18- 7 tournaments.

Beyond paying club dues, what else is expected of player parents? The club plans to have a few fundraisers.  We expect parents and players to participate.  Any additional assistance that parents can supply by way of fundraising, getting sponsors, being a chaperone, etc is appreciated!
