So you want to play volleyball... good choice! Volleyball is a sport for a lifetime, enjoyed by people ages 8 to 80. Ask anyone who has played volleyball (or any sport for that matter) ~ sports are an opportunity to not only get that much-needed exercise and participate in some great competition, but also to make friends, create memories, bond with your teammates and enjoy lots of laughs and fun! The 2011-2012 junior season kicks off with the Spokane Open House on October 17th. The event will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM at Martin Centre on the campus of Gonzaga University.
This year's Open House will be paired with the Gonzaga volleyball team's match against BYU. Stop by the Open House to learn about club teams, try-outs, and have all your questions answered. Then head to the Zag volleyball game for "Dollar Night." Admission only $1 for all fans.
Tryouts for the 2011-12 season will begin on November 13th and end on November 20th. For more information, be sure to attend the Open House or check out the website as try-out dates will be posted as they become available.
