Board of Directors

Meredith Coupland

Meredith Coupland is in her 6th year as the ERVA Commissioner and her 12th year as a member of the ERVA Board of Directors. She has been a member of USA Volleyball for a combined 27 years, as a junior member of the Alaska Region and adult member of the Evergreen Region. She is in her 21st year of coaching and currently coaches for VIP Juniors. Raised in Anchorage, AK, - attended college at Whitworth University - Meredith lives in Spokane, WA with her husband, Chad, and dog LuLu. She is a practice administrator for a local physical therapy clinic and will still find time to play volleyball, golf, garden, and read!! “Through the past six years as Commissioner, I have enjoyed seeing the growth in our membership numbers, growth in our membership locations, the addition of new/reinvigorated programs (adding College Memberships, the ERVA Adult tournaments, the ERVA Youth Scrimmages, an ERVA Boys Tournament and Adult and Juniors Sand), and of course seeing all our veteran (and new) faces that love the game of volleyball. If elected again I look forward to guiding our current programs, adding new indoor faces in other parts of our region (players and officials), seeing if we can grow sand outside of Spokane, and see if some new marketing will help us to develop our smaller programs, like Boys, and possibly develop another program like Sitting – ALL in an effort to grow the game together.”
